The reserve system was designed to give the First Nation's a place, creating Manitoba's Appartheid.  Treaties however, are doorways, causeways for communication.

Reconcilliation is promising yet our hearts, money and millitary go out to solve the rest of the world's problems.

Not as paternalists as companions.  The opportunities to build infrastructure in rural Manitoba must wait until the technology is enviromentally friendly.

The First Nations have the opportunity to build up their communities with wind farms, geo-thermal furnaces, electric cars?

We have the industrial land in Winnipeg to house manufacturing plants, schools, dorms.

Long Plain First Nation will be constructing an urban reserve in Winnipeg. This is promising yet I am concerned about creating tax-free zones. Our city needs all the tax dollars it can get! Will this area not use services paid for by tax dollars? As long as Nations are treated differently they will be different.

Peguis is a great example of great leadership with economic developemnet for the people on reserve, all reserves if under greaat leaadership can accomplish economic growth and b independent from the federal govt. My reserve in SK continues to have econimic growth and continues to fight for independance, however some reserves have nothing and must be allowed to grow off reserve through investments and training.
