I just thought I would post a little rant for today. 

I drive to work everyday from the West End to Elmwood.  Most of my routes take me through downtown, where invariably on every drive to or from work I run into the Malevolent Pedestrian.

This breed of pedestrian seems to think that they not only have the right of way, but some sort of God given right to loiter in the path of oncoming traffic.  Sometimes they are so bold as to give you a dirty look, just for patiently waiting for them to cross the road against the red light, or perhaps against the red hand; if they happen to be at a crosswalk at all.

It eludes me as to why people would behave this way, when the person one which they are projecting their rancor is just trying to have a nice drive to work.

I suppose this rant will find the wrong ears, because these people don't seem to have the brain power to obey the traffic signals, so they likely wouldn't be able to find the on button for their computer.
